Block Google DNS on Asus Routers

Step 1: Start by adding the playmoTV DNS to your router via our router setup guide, but don’t leave the router setup page.

Step 2: Once you are logged in to your router web utility, find Advanced Settings in the left sidebar and click LAN.

Step 3: Check the IP address of your router (which is probably 192.168.1.1) and click the Route tab, which is visible at the top of the screen.

Step 4: Once you have clicked the Route tab, toggle Yes for Enable Static Routes.

Step 5: Now, for the real deal:

Step 4.1: In the Static Route list enter 8.8.8.8 in the Network/Host IP field.

Step 4.2: For the Netmask enter 255.255.255.255.

Step 4.3: Enter the Router IP (noted in step 3) as your Gateway.

Step 4.4: In the Metric field simply enter 2.

Step 4.4: Select LAN as the Interface.

Step 4.5: Repeat these steps, but enter "8.8.4.4" in step 4.1, and then click Apply to enable these settings.

Step 6: After you have applied your changes, reboot your router and try again.
