How to Watch RUV Outside Iceland

We support two Icelandic services here at playmoTV, RUV and a service called Stod2. You can live stream the RUV, the Icelandic national broadcasting service (similar to BBC or PBS) via the following methods:

• On their website, www.ruv.is.
• By using their app, which is called RUV.
• By using an app called Stod 2, which is an app from a cable provider in Iceland. Through their app you can also use their premium subscription service calle Stod 2+ (Stod 2 Plus)þ

In order to successfully stream RUV from any of those services you need to make sure that:

1. Have an active account with us. Visit playmo.tv and create an account if you don't have one already. Click here to signup for a free 7-day trial (no credit card required). You need to have an active account so we can authorize your IP address in our system.
2. Your device is linked to playmoTV (you can follow our setup guides at playmo.tv/setup to take care of that).
3. Start streaming :)
