How To Create a Scandinavian Apple Account
As most of you are probably aware of, playmoTV supports many apps for iPad, iPhone and iPod touch devices. However, in order to get most of these apps the user needs to have a Danish or Swedish App Store account, so now we'd like to show you how you do exactly that.
Attention! In order to create a Danish/Swedish App Store account you'll need an alternate e-mail address that you have full access to, which is different than the address you used in your original App Store account.
Step 1: Open the App Store on your device. Open up the Featured section, scroll to the bottom, select your Apple ID, and click Sign Out.
Step 2: Now find a free app in the App Store to download. The App Store prompts you with a window to either use an existing Apple ID or create a new one. Here you should select Create New Apple ID, even though you already have an Apple account in another country.
Step 3: In the Choose Country select Sweden or Denmark and tap Done.
Step 4: Agree to the iTunes Terms & Conditions.
Step 5: Enter a valid email address, security questions, birthday and create a password. (Optional: Add a rescue email address. Convenient for those who change email addresses frequently).
Step 6: Tap Next, and select None as your payment option.
Step 7: Now you need to specify a valid Swedish or Danish address. This can be any valid address. For my account, I used the following addresses:
Sweden: Hyllie Boulevard 19 215 32 Malmö. Phone: +46-40371000
Denmark: Vesterbrogade 12, 1620 København V, Denmark. Phone: +45-70215353
Step 8: Now you'll probably see a "Verify your Account" screen. Click Done, and then check your email for a verification email from iTunes Store.
Step 9: Open the email and click the enclosed link to activate your Scandinavian App Store account.
Step 10: Once you click on the link, the Apple ID website should ask you to sign in with your account name and password. After a successful sign in you should be able to use your new App Store account.
