Block Google DNS on Belgacom Routers

  1. Connect to your Belgacom router web utility by going to 192.1681.1
  2. You will be prompted to enter your Belgacom serial number, which is located at the back of your router. Enter this number and click OK.
  3. Now you should be logged in. Click Advanced Settings on the left.
  4. Click Route, scroll down and click New Route.
  5. Now create two static routes to block Google's DNS servers.

    Name: LAN Bridge
    Destination: 8.8.8.8
    Netmask: 255.255.255.255
    Gateway: 192.168.1.1
    Metric: 2

    Click OK, and repeat the process, but replace the Destination and enter 8.8.4.4.
  6. Apply your changes and restart your router.
